the situation

Sunrise Colony Company was launching the first country club community of its stature to be built inside the Houston City limits for the last 50 years. Located just 8 miles west of the Galleria, it was to feature the first Fred Couples Signature Course in Houston. It was destined to become one of the premiere addresses in Houston.

the objective

The objective of the communications program was to sell 250 homes at an average price of $580,000.

the strategy

This advertising campaign was designed to reflect the luxury of the first country club community of its stature to be built inside the Houston City limits for the last 50 years.

The graphic design communicated prestige and exclusivity to the market of buyers ages 35-65 with incomes of over $150,000 and net worths over $1,000,000.

Lisa supervised a creative team at Goswick Communications on the development of this campaign.

the results

Within the first year homes had been sold for a total of $110 million in sales representing 80 percent of our goal. In addition, 150 country club memberships have been sold. With a very limited media buy, the word-of-mouth generated by this program generated over 2,000 visitors per month to the community’s information center.
